Where: TXRD Thunderdome in Buda and Travis County Expo Center
Looking for something a little different? Texas Roller Derby brings fast-paced banked-track competition to Central Texas throughout the fall.

PBR Gambler Days

When: August 21–23, 2026
Where: Moody Center
Austin's professional bull riding team, the Austin Gamblers, returned to Moody Center for Gambler Days in August. The event brought elite riders and powerful bulls together for an adrenaline-filled weekend of PBR competition.
With rides lasting only seconds, professional bull riding delivers plenty of intensity in a very short amount of time.
FIA World Endurance Championship – Lone Star Le Mans

When: September 4–6, 2026
Where: Circuit of The Americas
Endurance racing returned to Circuit of The Americas in September with some of the world's most sophisticated racing machines and accomplished drivers.
Unlike shorter races built around outright speed, endurance racing tests performance, strategy, consistency, and reliability over several demanding hours. For motorsports fans, the event offers a different experience from the Formula 1 spectacle that arrives later in the fall.
MotoAmerica Superbikes Championship

When: September 11–13, 2026
Where: Circuit of The Americas
Motorcycle racing takes over COTA as MotoAmerica brings superbike competition to the Austin area.
Fans can watch professional riders tackle the challenging 3.41-mile circuit at high speeds while enjoying a weekend filled with racing and additional fan experiences. It's a great option for anyone who prefers two wheels to four.

Texas Stars Hockey

Where: H-E-B Center at Cedar Park
Fall also marks the return of hockey to Central Texas. The Texas Stars, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, begin another season at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park.

Formula 1 United States Grand Prix

Where: Circuit of The Americas
One of Austin's biggest annual sporting events returns in October when Formula 1 takes over Circuit of The Americas for the United States Grand Prix.
The three-day weekend combines world-class racing with a festival-like atmosphere that attracts visitors from around the country and across the globe. Fans can experience practice and qualifying sessions before Sunday's Grand Prix, along with entertainment and concerts throughout the weekend.
For 2026, Maroon 5 and Post Malone are among the major artists scheduled to perform during the event.

National Amateur Disc Golf Tour National Championships

Austin will welcome amateur disc golfers from across the country for the NADGT National Championships in late October.
Competition is expected to take place across multiple courses throughout the area, giving spectators and disc golf enthusiasts an opportunity to see some of the nation's strongest amateur players compete for a national title.
U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game

College hockey comes to Central Texas this Halloween with the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game at the H-E-B Center.

PGA TOUR: Austin Championship

Where: Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa – Fazio Canyons Golf Course
Professional golf returns to Austin in November with the PGA TOUR's Austin Championship.
